Sewer Video Inspection

Ever wonder where all the water goes? Your sewer system is out of sight and out of mind - until problems occur.

NOTE: WE NO LONGER OFFER THIS INSPECTION DIRECTLY, BUT WE RECOMMEND YOU CONSIDER CONTRACTING WITH A SEWER VIDEO INSPECTION COMPANY, FOR THE REASONS STATED BELOW.

Key Benefits to having a Sewer Video Inspection:

  • Buyers - The home inspection is a diligent process, but there are limitations. No matter how much water the inspector runs during the inspection, the condition of the sewer typically cannot be determined without sending a camera down the line. An existing problem with the sewer may not manifest as a backup for quite some time after you take possession. Especially with older homes, the cost of repairing or replacing the sewer can be very expensive. Why take any chances?
  • New Homes - One would think a new home would not have sewer problems, but it happens, and it is happens frequently. Construction debris, construction damage, and improper construction are just some of the possibilities. We have even discovered sewer lines that exit the home but go no further!
  • Sellers - What better peace of mind can you give a buyer than a professional report that the sewer system is free from defects or damage!
  • Homeowners - Are you having periodic backups? There are many possible problems, including tree roots, settled pipes, broken pipes, and disjointed pipes. The sewer video inspection not only identifies the problems, but it physically determines the locations of the problems so that cost effective corrections can be made.
